Final Payment

Final payment on your vacation rental, including damage waiver fee and taxes, is due in our office no later than 30 days prior to your arrival date. Personal checks cannot be accepted within 30 days of your arrival.


In the event of a cancellation, you are responsible for payment of the full rental amount. If Coldwell Banker is able to re-rent the property for the duration of your lease, your payment will be refunded less a re-rental fee of 15% of the total rental amount.


Check-in time for your vacation rental is between 3:00PM and 5:00PM. If you know or think you'll be arriving late, please call us in advance to make arrangements. We cannot give out keys before 3:00PM. Call us immediately to report any problems in your vacation home.


Our goal is to have each property cleaned prior to your check-in at 3:00PM. On rare occasions, our cleaning companies need more time and it may be necessary to allow them access after 3:00PM.

Parking On The Street

Parking permits are required for parking on public streets in the towns of Rehoboth and Dewey Beach EXCEPT in areas with parking meters. PARKING PERMITS ARE NOT VALID IN METERED PARKING SPACES.

Rehoboth Beach parking permits may often be purchased at our Rehoboth Beach office and various locations throughout town. Dewey Beach permits may be purchased at the Dewey Beach Town Hall located at 105 Rodney Street.

Some property owners provide parking permits in addition to off-street parking or where off-street parking is not available. Ask your rental agent for details.

Parking is prohibited on the ocean block of St. Lawrence, Queen and Prospect Streets in South Rehoboth from 11:00PM to 6:00AM daily. If you are staying on these streets, please move your vehicle.


Pets are only permitted in pet friendly rental properties. Check with your agent.

Internet Access

Some of our rental properties have Internet Access. Service cannot be guaranteed. Check with your agent.

What You Need To Bring

You will only need to bring bed linens, including blankets, beach and bath towels, soap, paper products, and trash bags. All properties are equipped for simple cooking and housekeeping. Beach chairs are NOT usually provided.

Why Not Rent It?

Is your car full? Almost everything you need can be rented here including linens, cribs, wheelchairs, bikes, highchairs, grills, beach chairs, umbrellas, and video equipment. Call the Grand Rental Station at (800) 628-6253 or (302) 227-RENT, or look online at for prices and delivery details.

Mail, Messages And Phones

Mail is not delivered to rental properties but may be received c/o General Delivery at the Rehoboth Beach Post Office. We'll be glad to accept packages at our offices during business hours. Check with us if you are expecting something. If your property has a phone, the number appears on your lease. Many phones have local access only and may not be able to dial a toll-free number. Guests are responsible for all charges.

Fireplaces And Grills

Some rental homes list gas or wood fireplaces among their amenities. The use of these facilities is limited to the off season and may not always be available. The use of grills on balconies and decks is prohibited. Charcoal and gas for grills are usually not provided.

Pools And Hot Tubs

Properties listing pools and outdoor hot tubs will usually have them available during the summer months but they may not be available throughout the year.


Trash collection days can be found in your check-in packet. Please follow the instructions and use plastic bags AND appropriate containers.

If you misplace your check-in packet and need the collection days, please call the office and an agent can provide the information for you. Rehoboth's Pickup Schedule is also available online.

Please check-out promptly by 10:00am so the property can be cleaned and prepared for the next guests. We ask that you leave the property neat and orderly. Please be sure to:

  1. Remove food from refrigerator, bag and remove all trash.
  2. Clean and store dishes and cooking utensils.
  3. Make beds and leave furnishings arranged as you found them.
  4. Check all drawers and closets and look under beds. We are not responsible for items left behind.
  5. Close all windows and blinds and lock the doors when you leave. Leave the air conditioning set at 75 degrees.
  6. Return the keys to our office, along with your Guest Survey and Reservation Request Form. At that time, please report any problems or damages to the home.


These vacation homes are privately owned and do not belong to Coldwell Banker Premier. You are using someone's personal beach home. Please give these homes the same consideration that you would give your own.
